The Sound of Music

The Sound of Music tells the story of a young woman named Maria who is studying to be a nun when she is sent from her convent to be the governess to seven children of a widowed naval commander, Captain von Trapp. The children come to adore Maria, who teaches them to sing, and soon the Captain falls in love with her as well. Set in 1930’s Austria, the von Trapp family must plot their escape to Switzerland when the Captain is forced back into military service under the Nazis. The Sound of Music features such Rodgers & Hammerstein favorites as "My Favorite Things," "Do-Re-Mi" and "Sixteen Going on Seventeen.”

Tickets: adults - $10, seniors - $9, students - $7.
