Auditions Announced for Disney’s Beauty And The Beast

The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out and soon he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

Auditions are now set for Saturday, November 9th!

Head to our Beauty and the Beast webpage for audition details!

The CAP Radio Hour – Live has a cast! Head to our page and learn how these actors will step back in time and go behind the scenes to witness the magic of old-school radio production, where imagination meets creativity.

Actors will be performing radio plays (along with commercials) in a radio show format – creating multiple characters and their own sound effects by using everyday objects to produce a wide range of sounds such as footsteps, creaking doors, and breaking glass.

This show is brought to you by a generous grant from our friends at Meta. With our performances running November 22nd to November 24th so check out our webpage The CAP Radio Hour Live!

In our November CAPstone Workshop, you will discover the magic of old-school Foley Work (Sound Effects). Led by Christine, learn how Foley artists create an immersive auditory experience using everyday objects to produce a wide range of sounds such as footsteps, creaking doors, and breaking glass.

This workshop will be Saturday, November 9th from 6-8 PM at CAP Theatre. Registration is required and class size is limited so register here.

In the mood for laughter and spontaneity? Then check out our monthly MadCAP Improv Workshop on the third Saturday of each month. These workshops are designed to help young adults, grades 6-12, find confidence in the power of their voice and imagination through wild, fast-paced improvisation games.

Our next workshop is Saturday, November 16th . Check social media for time and location. No registration necessary, $5.00 (CASH ONLY).
