Broadway is coming to CAP Theatre!

Barrett Wilbert Weed – Veronica from Heathers and Janice from Mean Girls – will be joining us on Friday, May 8, for a workshop and cabaret! You can be a part of this incredible event in a number of ways: students can participate in the workshop with Barrett Wilbert Weed from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and anyone can attend the cabaret-style performance by the Broadway star from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Both events with Barrett Wilbert Weed on May 8 will take place at Fleur Cinema at 4545 Fleur Drive in Des Moines.
Rehearsals prior to May 8 will take place at CAP Theatre at 201 First Avenue in Altoona.

The student events are open to students in grades 6 through 12.

The following tickets are available for this event:

• $200: Audition-based acceptance into a 1-on-1 workshop with Barrett Wilbert Weed. Available to 14 students.
• $100: Attend and observe the workshop, rehearse and perform a group number, and have a group photo taken with all students and Barrett Wilbert Weed. Available to 30 students.
• $50: Educators, directors and designers, join the workshop and group photo.
• $25: Attend the Cabaret with Barrett Wilbert Weed, including the performances by our students

General admission tickets will go on sale Monday, April 27, at 9 a.m.
