Students in 7th grade through age 21! Join CAP Theatre this summer as our quest for classical theatre transitions from Haines Park to a VIRTUAL LANDSCAPE where our CAP students will perform classical monologues from the Greek, Roman, and English Renaissance periods. Students will spend six to eight weeks researching, rehearsing, and recording a final performance of two classical selections. Throughout the summer, students will engage in virtual coaching sessions designed to explore the entire world of the plays containing their monologues. Final performances will be available digitally on CAP’s social media platforms.

Audition Date / Time: Saturday, June 6 from 10:00am-1:00pm

Audition Monologues: Students need to download the audition monologues prior to the audition and prepare to present at least one monologue of their choice. Students do not need to memorize their selected monologue, but should have a basic familiarity with the show, selected character, and the monologue text. Students are strongly encouraged to practice their selected monologue independently prior to the audition.
