The Comedy of Errors

Performances July 27 – 30
(Thursday, Friday, Saturday at 7pm – Sunday at 2pm)

The return of the CAP Classic revisits a tale as old as Shakespeare, The Comedy of Errors! Thought to be one Shakespeare’s earlier plays, this comedy deals with separated family and mistaken identity.

‘Tis the story of two sets of identical twins accidentally separated at birth. Antipholus of Syracuse and his servant, Dromio of Syracuse, arrive in Ephesus, which turns out to be the home of their twin brothers, Antipholus of Ephesus and his servant, Dromio of Ephesus. When the Syracusians encounter the friends and families of their twins, a series of wild mishaps based on mistaken identities lead to misadventures the likes of which only Shakespeare could have imagined!
